Dulces Manjares de mi Tierra

Dulces Manjares de mi Tierra is a handmade tendence book inspired by desserts from Cundinamarca and ancient sweets produced in Bogotá. The purpose was to provide visual guidelines to advertise these handmade products that are part of our Colombian history; The goal, to retrieve the popularity these traditional sweets have lost in the war against industrial products. Using photography as the communication method, this book shows the traditional cooking process involved in its production, and the rituals around its consumption, which is what makes them special compared to buying industrialized candies.
